Shift happens: for Women Who Think & Feel Deeply

3-months of space to feel understood, ease survival mode and find clarity, confidence and more sustainable ways of living and working.

Support for women who are done holding it all together

You’ve been carrying it all: the emotions, the insight, the strategies, the masks.

You know how to survive — you’re brilliant at it, actually.

But your system is asking for something different now.

This is a 3-month container for women who are done performing.

Done adapting.
Done “trying harder.”

You're ready to find a way of living, working, and being that actually fits your wiring — and honours your nervous system.

Shift Happens isn’t therapy or life coaching.

It sits in the space between insight, nervous-system awareness, and real-world integration — offered as a structured, time-bound container over three months, rather than open-ended or crisis-based support.

This work unfolds at a pace that honours your capacity — not someone else’s expectations.

Is this for you?

You’ve done therapy. Read the books. Tried to change your mindset.
And yet, you might still feel stuck in patterns you can clearly see, but haven’t been able to shift.

Shift Happens is a time-bound, depth-oriented support space. It’s designed to support meaningful, embodied change over three months — with clear structure and pace — rather than open-ended or ongoing support.

This work meets you where you are — without pressure to rush, fix, or perform change.

This work helps you:

Reconnect to your body + inner wisdom

Get clearer on what you need and why

Understand why you do what you do, and how to change it

Tap into compassion for yourself + experience less pressure to “try harder”

Find greater clarity and confidence in making decisions

Explore change in a contained, reflective way — with time, space, and support to integrate what emerges, rather than staying in ongoing discussion alone.

Most of all: you get to stop performing.
And start listening — to you.

sometimes you just know that it's time to shift from surviving to something more sustainable

I'm here to help

I’m Sarah — a social worker, educator, and somatic coach, an ND woman and parent, and a lifelong questioner of systems that were never designed with sensitive, perceptive people in mind.

My work blends trauma-informed social work, nervous system awareness, intuitive pattern recognition, and embodied reflection — supporting people to make sense of what they already know, but haven’t yet had language or space to integrate.

Clients often say:
“You put words to things I’ve never been able to name.”

This isn't 'get fixed' work. It’s get real, get clear, get grounded work — for those who are ready to stop overriding themselves in order to fit in, belong, or keep things running.

Together, we draw on conversation, somatic inquiry, and carefully chosen reflective tools — always with intention and consent — to support insight, integration, and real change that can actually be lived.

A little about the journey

The way we work together is flexible, but always grounded in approaches that are trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming and integrate both cognitive & body-based. Over the course of three months, we’ll draw from a toolbox including:

  • Somatic inquiry – connecting to the body’s wisdom

  • Neurodivergent Affirming – honouring all neurotypes & deepening self- understanding

  • Polyvagal-informed support – working with and understanding the nervous system

  • Ecological social work – recognising how systems, culture, expectations and environments shape lived experience

  • Narrative therapy & values mapping - exploring & unearthing your stories and inner guides

  • Relational & energetic attunement – sensing beyond words

  • Mindfulness & reflection – creating space to hear yourself again

  • Symbolic and archetypal tools – including practices like Soul Call Cards, which invite reflection through metaphor, image and archetypal psychology

Spaces for Shift Happens are limited. I work with a small number of women/ gender diverse people at a time so the work can be held with depth, care, and attention.

Where do sessions take place?

Sessions are offered via Zoom - from the comfort of your home, office, car - or favourite place outdoors.

Do you offer single sessions or packages?

The Shift Happens sessions are now offered as a three-month package, because I’ve seen the powerful changes that unfold when we work together consistently. When we commit to the process — and to ourselves — the shifts can be immense. This approach ensures everyone I work with has the best opportunity for meaningful, lasting outcomes. Because this work is designed as a complete container, there’s a natural ending point. Some people choose a small number of follow-up sessions later on, while others find the integration continues without additional support. We’ll trust what’s actually needed, rather than defaulting to ongoing work.

Can we use NDIS funding?

Some clients do choose to use self-managed NDIS funding to work with me—and that’s absolutely welcome. That said, a shift in my practice since July 2025 means that services are no longer designed around NDIS goals or reporting requirements. Invoices can be provided after each session to allow claims to be made.

What is the current wait for a session?

There is currently a wait list and anticipated wait of approximately 6-8 weeks for initial consultations, occasionally there may be immediate availability.

Is this offering just for women?

This work is for women, non-binary, and gender-diverse folks — anyone who knows the weight of navigating systems and expectations that weren’t designed with you in mind.
