JOIN THE FORCE 4 GOOD
Co-signed by 1,000+ advocates (and counting!)—this movement is growing, and schools are starting to listen.
Amplifying neurodivergent student voices - belonging to the Force for Good Student Collective, this letter flips the script—giving kids a megaphone to say: "We listen best when our needs are understood and respected."
It’s a simple request - it's not about ‘changing policies’—it’s about replacing a harmful norm with an approach that actually works.
You can be part of Force 4 Good by helping us share an important message with schools!
You can choose to send Charlie’s letter just as it is, or you can adapt it — add your own words, ideas, or drawings to make it your own.
You could even write a brand new letter if you like!
Once you've finished, we’d love you to share your creation with us by sending a photo or a copy.
Every letter, every voice makes a difference — and together, we can help schools become safer, more inclusive places for everyone.
I consent to receive communications and understand I can opt-out at anytime.

We believe that WBL does not meet the requirements of the Disability Standards For Education (2005) for ND students
Even WBL's original promoters have moved on, recognising the need for better approaches
There's not one way to listen, dictating the appearance of listening and requiring it is unfair
15-20% of people are neurodivergent and need to be genuinely included in classrooms
Practices that shame natural ways of listening impact wellbeing and achievement.
Schools & education decision makers can join us by pledging to make the change to inclusive listening practices
Students and allies can join us in sending letters and having conversations with their school communities
LET'S DO THIS - TOGETHER ↓
Right now, many students are being asked to learn in ways that don't fit how their brains and bodies naturally work.
Requiring students to sit still, make eye contact, and look “attentive” leaves too many feeling excluded, exhausted, or invisible.
True accessibility means recognising that learning doesn’t look the same for everyone — and that every student deserves an education that fits and respects their needs. Until then, education isn’t truly accessible for all.

We invite you to sign our Inclusive Listening Pledge — a commitment to move away from outdated practices like Whole Body Listening and create classrooms where every student feels seen, supported, and included.
Together, we can make education truly accessible for all.
By making the pledge you commit to:
Review the Force 4 Good campaign resources to better understand how different brains and bodies process and attend to information.
Cease using Whole Body Listening as a behaviour expectation or measure of engagement.
Adopt an inclusive alternative (such as Bumper the Whole Body Learner) that recognises and affirms varied ways of paying attention and processing information.
Seek guidance from a professional experienced in neurodiversity-affirming practice if support is needed during implementation.
